The connection between our mind and body is the most enduring and intimate of relationships,
directly impacting behavior, health and well being. Body Image is a matter of intense personal interest, and also one of physiological and emotional importance.
Imagine a world in which we aren’t so preoccupied with how our bodies look, and focused instead on how they function. If we could ‘reprogram’ popular thinking, would we choose the same ideals we strive for today? By improving body image through interactive online educational experiences, Body Evolution will help optimize vast human potential.
We invite you, everyone, to join the movement.
Body Image can be understood simply as how individuals perceive and relate to their own bodies.
Whether we acknowledge it or not, body image plays a surprisingly large role in our thoughts and behavior. It affects mental and physical health. It affects our relationships. It affects happiness. Body Image is a major unaddressed issue sitting at the convergence point of health & wellness and beauty, fitness & diet.
Body Image affects everyone, from obese to thin, including those who suffer from eating disorders. And between the extremes are millions of people who are just unhappy with their bodies.
Treating body image can help all of these people.
There are no silver bullets for the issue of body image, but there are solutions.
Before we treat our bodies, we need to treat our thought process. Gaining a true understanding of the relationship between mind and body is a meaningful first step.
Body Evolution’s programs are a unique combination of evidence-based research with eastern mind/body balance philosophy. Our online delivery means individuals can learn independently and privately, without concern of embarrassment or judgment.
Our programs are developed for adult (18+) audiences, and will be distributed directly to consumers via the internet and through institutional and clinical channels. Our programs are challenging and based on proven research and teaching methodologies. We can’t promise they’ll be easy, but we are committed to presenting the material in an interesting and responsible manner.

Body image is a lifelong journey. Body Evolution will provide a continuum of tools to help navigate and manage that journey.
Where Digital Media meets Behavioral Science.
Body Evolution develops interactive health media based on peer-reviewed research. We also operate The Body Image Project, a community for body image. Our goal is to provide tools, information and support for people (and lots of them) to enjoy healthier lives.
Imagine improving a person’s health by practicing the skills of a better thought process, so that unproductive behaviors and choices can be neutralized. Imagine applying these new skills to our thoughts, perceptions, fears and beliefs about our own body. We can be aware of behaviors that once were automatic and unnoticed. And while these behaviors are not easily dismantled, they are less daunting. Sustaining this new knowledge and capacity requires commitment, but it is achievable with Body Evolution.
This is what we mean when we invite you to join a movement. A movement towards health, balance and wellness. Thrive with us.
A research psychologist is searching for a tool to efficiently and accurately gauge body image disturbance. Finding none, she builds one herself. Though not a computer expert by any means, her instrument proves to be quite effective, as her peers in the field of body image research confirm through their review.
A team of venture capital investors are seeking out technologies to commercialize. They uncover promising gene therapies, cell reprogramming, and a curious assessment of body image brought forth by an impressive researcher. They bite.
Some time later, the company is searching for its way. An eLearning veteran sees similarities between past challenges and new opportunities. His vision meshes with that of the research psychologist. The venture investors pick up on the chemistry, and a team is formed.
Months later, licensing and research in place, a multi-disciplined creative team comes together around a vision to create a new movement towards health, with body image as the centerpiece. Inspiration abounds. Creativity negotiates with efficacy. Humanity benefits.
Stay tuned, the best is yet to come.
